After you create a device group, you can add devices to the device group in the NS1 Connect portal.
-
Click the Devices label to the right of the device group name. The list of devices for that device group (if any) is then displayed.
-
Click the + icon on the right side of the device list. The Add Device to Group dialog opens.
Specify whether or not you are adding a device via its MAC address or DHCP unique ID (DUID). Note that at this time, you can only select the MAC identifier type.
-
Specify the identifier (in this case, the MAC address of the device), as well as an optional device name and optional notes about the device.
Click Save.
You can modify the name or notes about a device.
-
Click the vertical ellipsis to the right of the device you want to modify, then click Edit Device.
-
Modify the name of or notes about the device, then click Save.
Click the vertical ellipsis for the device that you want to delete, then click Remove device.

After you have defined device groups and added devices to them, you can add a device group to a scope group to allow or deny access to the IP addresses within the scope group.
