In the context of NS1’s Enterprise DDI solution, a network refers to non-overlapping address ranges (IPv4 and/or IPv6).
To view networks & subnets:
Networks appear in a list under the IPAM tab. At the top-most level, the networks appear with a label that indicates the total number of dependent subnets or “total children” within that network.
Click the label to view the next level of subnets—each labeled with their own dependencies.

Select a network or subnet to view usage information and other metadata in the side panel. During configuration, it’s helpful to include descriptions for quick reference and search.
Note: To configure overlapping IP space, you can create a second network that describes the overlap—physical or virtual. Specifying a different ID for the network and name allows you to use the same addresses without conflict.
