NOTE
If you are unable to log into your account due to 2FA restrictions, contact your account administrator or someone with the "Manage users" permission enabled to reset your 2FA code. If necessary, contact the NS1 support team.
WARNING
Before enabling 2FA on your NS1 account, ensure you have installed Google Authenticator or another TOTP app on your device.
NS1 supports two-factor authentication (2FA) with TOTP for secure access to the NS1 platform. If you are an admin user, you can enforce two-factor authentication for everyone in your organization.
-
In the NS1 portal, click your username in the upper-right corner. From the drop-down menu, select Account Settings > Your Profile.
-
Within the Two Factor Authentication section, click the toggle next to Enable 2-Factor Authentication, click the toggle. This reveals the QR code and TOTP key.
-
In your authentication app, scan the QR code or manually enter the TOTP key to generate a device authentication code.
-
Back in your browser, enter the six-digit device code generated by your authentication app, and click the Verify Authentication button.
-
Once enabled, log out of NS1 and open a new web browser (recommended: incognito).
-
Go to https://my.nsone.net and log in with your credentials. If enabled properly, you will be prompted to enter the two-factor token.
-
From your device's authentication (TOTP) app, redeem or generate a new token.
-
Enter the token, and click Sign in to complete the secure login.
Note
Refer to Enforcing two-factor authentication (2FA) for all users (admin only) to learn more about enforcing two-factor authentication for all users within your organization.
