An IP allow list specifies the trusted IP addresses or ranges from which an account user can access your IBM NS1 Connect account. You can apply an IP allow list to an individual user or API key, to a team of users and keys, or globally to apply to all account users.
Note
In order to create or modify IP allow lists for your NS1 Connect account, you must have the "Manage IP allow list" permission enabled.
Follow the instructions below to create a global IP allow list. By default, this list will be applied to all users and teams associated with your account.

Click your username in the top right corner of the portal and navigate to Settings > Security settings.

Click the Global IP allow lists tab.

Click Add allow list.

Enter a name for the IP allow list for internal reference.

Enter one or more IP addresses or CIDR ranges, pressing the tab or return key between each entry.

Click Save changes.

Click Save Changes.
If your current IP address is not included in the global IP allow list you just configured, you will be prompted to include it or apply it to your individual account settings.
You can apply an IP allow list to an individual user or API key within the user/key settings.

Click your username in the top right corner of the portal, and navigate to Settings > Users & Teams.

Click the or tab.

Click the pencil icon next to the user or API key you want to edit.

Under Manage IP allow list, enter one or more IP addresses or CIDR ranges, pressing the tab or return key between each entry.

Optionally, select the checkbox next to Apply this IP allow list exclusively to ignore any global or team allow lists for this user or API key.

Similarly to applying an IP allow list to an individual user or team, you can specify a team-specific IP allow list within the team settings.

Click your username in the top right corner and navigate to > .

Navigate to the tab.

Click the pencil icon next to the team you want to edit.

Under Manage IP allow list for this team, enter a name for the IP allow list to apply to this team.

Specify one or more IP addresses or CIDR ranges, pressing the tab or return key between each entry.

Click Save to save the team's IP allow list.

Click Save team.
