The final step to making your NS1 DNS records live is to update your domain registrar with the name servers that will be authoritative for your domain. Make sure you are confident that your zone and its accompanying DNS records are configured properly in your NS1 account, and then follow the instructions below.
Before delegating a zone (i.e., domain) to NS1, you must first create the zone in the NS1 platform. Refer to Create a DNS zone for instructions.
Log in to the NS1 portal, and navigate to DNS > Zones.
From the list of zones, click the name of the zone you want to delegate to NS1 to drill down into the zone details.
Click the Nameservers tab to view and record the name servers associated with the zone. In the example below, the associated NS1 name servers are:
Refer to the instructions from your domain registrar for updating name servers for the domain using the nameservers identified in the previous step.
It may take up to 24 hours for changes to propagate to the public internet.
